 GAME SUMMARY:

Second back to back game against the pursuers and after Saturdays game we should have learned there set up and how they played, but did we ? NOPE. Abronhill started out well with some great passing and plenty of space on both wings. Billy was causing problems down the left for the 1st 45mins and Iain down the right. Abronhill took the lead for a change in a game through a well worked goal which saw kev again score with a superb effort leaving there keeper no chance. To be honest Pursuers rarely troubled in the 1st half but still managed to get a goal. There only good player was left unchallenged down the left wing and a good cross we met by the smallest guy on the park to side foot home, a good goal but undeserved after the possesion Abronhill had in the 1st half.

Into the 2nd and again more chances for Abronhill with no end product, Pursuers did have more chances but nothing clear cut that really caused Josie trouble in goal. But again Pursuers tactics of long ball undone the Abronhill defence. A simple punt upfield to there No14 and he ran in on goal and finished well. Michael could have flying kicked him down but hes too nice a guy. Michael looked to have done just enough but somehow the guy finished and pursuers were 2-1 with 10mins left and thats how it ended.

We played well passing the ball about and cut them open on several occasions but just cant seem to bury some teams.  A much better team performance but a defeat none the less.
