 GAME SUMMARY:

H/F time 1-0 F/T 1-7 

Final game of the season for both teams and Abronhill went into this game confident about playing a team bottom of the table. The first half performance showed that Abronhill were taking it far too easy and could have been a few goals up in the first half our but the finishing was poor. It was Deanpark who got the opener, Jack deciding to header the ball off there strikers face instead of clearing left him one-on-one with Josie, and the striker calmly finished.

After a kick up the arse from Mcgowen at half time, abronhill composed themselves and absolutley battered Deanpark. graham got the first with a head from 6 yards. Then it was time for the Billy and Kev show. With Billy on 21 goals for the season and Kev on 22 it was tight at the top for top goal scorer. Billy got his 23rd of the season quickly followed by his 24th.Then it was Kevs turn to shine also grabbing a brace. By this time Deanpark had collapsed and just coudlnt be bothered anymore, it was a case of how many would Abronhill score.

The goal of the game secured Billy hat trick, a stunning 25 yard shot left the keeper no chance and Billy and Kev were now both on 24 goals of the season with 2 minutes of the clock left.

With time running out some good passing found Kev with a great chance to either run in on goal unchallenged or square it to Billy. Unbelievably he squared it for Billy to have an easy tap in and get his 25th of the season and the top goal scorer award for the season. Well done Kev for some unselfish play I’m sure Billy would have done the same if the roles had been reversed ( I fu***en right).

So well done one and all for a good first season in the GDSML league. We just lost out on 4th place and if we didnt loose some stupid goals im sure 4ht if not 3th would have been achievable.

I will get Jack to write a short note about the season and i will get some stats up for the entire season soon.

Have a good few weeks of before pre-season starts again and dont get to fat.

Night out on the 7th JUNE, meet at Marks at 4pm-ish for a BBQ and to watch the opening on Euro 2008 then hit the

hen broon for some drinks and hilarity a plenty.
