SUBS USED: TAM, JORDI, RAB
GAME SUMMARY:
H/F time 1-0 F/T 2-1
Abronhill knew they were in for a tough game against a well organised Parklife and it was Parklife who started the better. Abronhills post was hit twice in the first 20mins but the score remained 0-0. After that wee scare Abronhill settled and played some good football, but not before Jack and Joe were rolled off with injuries.
Abronhill took the lead after a through ball released the whippet Michale McGowan only for his finish to be saved by the keeper, with the rebound dropping to Kev he hit the by-line before crossing for an unmarked Billy to nod home, 1-0.
Into the 2nd half and both teams had chances but Innes goal was rarely bothered. With 25 mins left to play, Ants found Tam with a throw in and Tam spotted the keeper off his line from all of 30 yards, lobbing the keeper superbly. I right,it was a cross and Tam knows it!
Abronhill had a few more chances to bury the game but it was Parklife who scored the next goal. A hump upfield found there striker one on one with Innes and the forward tucked it away. 2-1.
With plenty of time for both teams to score more goals, the two teams went for it, but it finished 2-1 and Abronhill secured the 3 points. Good team effort and well played to the defence after the personnel change so early on.
PS: Did anyone notice if Ricky Young was playing for Parklife?
