GAME SUMMARY:
H/F time 3-0  F/T 3-1

First Pre-season friendly of the season saw a very good first half. Abronhill welcomed Michael Mcgowen back into the team after a season out playing with some dross. Opponents today were Corsslands First team who play in a Saturday Afternoon team so this should have been a hard game. Corsslands seemed to have more of the ball in the opening 20mins but dome nothing with it. So it was upt o Abronhill to open the scoring. Some tenatious work from Ricky in the penalty box led to one of there defenders clipping the ankles and Abronhill had a penalty. up stepped Michael to drill the ball straight down the middle of the goal for 1 nil. Soon after it was 2-o and a second penalty or was it ?

Young michael made the most of a challenge by the keep but his swan dive won the award anyway. This time up stepped billy to calmy side foot ball past the keeper. Soon after it was Billy's 2nd and Abronhills 3rd. Straight from there keepers kick out, ricky headed the ball goalward for michael to flick it into the path of Billy who ran in on goal and finished nicely.

Into the 2nd half and both teams made a few changes. Abronhill new signing THOMAS started at right back to the delight of Joe. Raymond made a comeback and started the 2nd half upfront and a few other changes also happened that i cant remember. Crosslands changes were to take off wee guys and put on big guys. Crosslands definately had the better of the 2nd half but onyl really had one shot on goal. Crosslands goal came from a mix up from the Ref, blowing the whistle when the ball was in mid-air from a throw in. So on hearing the whistle robert plucks the ball out the air in the 18 yard box, resulting in a penalty for crosslands, which they scored.

Good run out all in all but still plenty of room for improvement.

Goals: Billy (p), , Michael McG (p)
