GAME SUMMARY:

H/F time 1-2 F/T 3-4

Abronhill went into this must win match full of confidence after two good wins. Both teams had some chances to open the scoring but it was Abronhill who grabbed the opener. A long kick from Rab found Kevs head who flicked it on to Iain and Iain finished superbly leaving the keeper no chance. 2 minutes later it was 1-1. And with Danny moaning about not getting a mention in the match reports then here you are. An easy clearance by the usually reliable Captain, somehow sliced right over Soapys head from 6 yards out, a superb finish with his Sand wedge of a left foot. 10 mintes after that Danny went off injured with a severe red neck. Diagnosis doesn’t look good. Scotsman then took the lead just before half time with another long ball upfront which wasn’t dealt with from Rab and the Striker ran into to lob soapy.

Into the second half and Abronhill got back on level terms with some good football caught Scotsman  by surprise after they wouldn’t stop complaining that a ball had went for a shy, Iain finished well again. Scotsman then regained the lead after some sloppy play in midfield allowed there midfielder to release there striker and with Joe trying to get round the striker, legs became tangled and a penalty was given. Penalty was scored, 3-2.

Soon it was 4-2 after a speculative shot was fumbled by Soapy. Abronhill got one back from a long throw in from Rab and headed home by Kev.

Abronhill then had a 4th goal ruled out when Billy was ruled out for offside, there left back was playing Billy on by about 5 yards but the ref didn’t see him cause he was standing behind him. Ah Saturday morning footy, dont you love it.

Good attitude after going 4-2 down, but that attitude should be shown through the whole match even if were winning
