Abronhills season started poorly after a shocking 3-0 defeat to Allander. After last weeks cup win against Andrew Watt confidence should have been high but everything about the game was flat. If Abronhill had took the lead which they should have on more than one occasion in the first 20 minutes things may have been different, but there keeper was superb. Allander were the ones to take the lead with an easy tap in. The 2nd isnt even worth writing about, nor the third.

Standing at the sidelines for most of this game you get to see the whole game differently and its easy to see why McGowan gets so annoyed. No communication, No dig and No creativity. Any time we played the ball on the deck and got the ball out wide we created chances. But to many times players didnt want to hold the ball and wanted rid of it as quickly as they could. Were not a big team so we have to play to our strengths and thats is PACE up front. We need to be able to use Billy and Michaels Pace to get behind the defences. Were never going to win headers all day long.

I think the biggest disapointment on Saturday was that the game was just so flat and everyone probably had the idea that we were just going to turn up and win. Which is an attitude we must get rid of as it was our downfall last season. We need to play EVERY GAME as if we are playing VALE UNITED or ANDREW WATT. Show dig and a will to win for the full 90mins no matter if were winning or loosing.
