Unfortunate defeat after a very good game at windy Bearsden. Allander started the brighter of the two teams and were 1-0 up within 10 minutes of the game. From a throw in, a neat one two released there midfielder to get a low cross in and at the back post, there winger was there to finish. Abronhill responded well and equalised from a well taken corner from Ants and Kev finished well on the volley. Soon after Abronhill took the lead with some neat work involving Kev and Billy. Billy finished well from 18 yards. 1 minute before the break, Abronhill shot themselves in the foot once again. AGAIN from a throw in, there No:8 danced past 2 or three player in the box and fired off a show which Soapy saved well. But the rebound landed at there midfielders feet who scuffed a shot in for 2-2. H/T.

Into the 2nd Half and both teams had some good chances but nothing really clear cut. The game could have swung Abronhills way if the referee had a pair of balls. With kev clean through there centre half blatantly brought him down, and being the last man was a definate Red Card, but the ref bottled it and showed a yellow instead, insisting Kev was running away from the gaol towards the corner flag. I right. After the match the Ref did state " thank god im not watching the replay on TV tonight". Says allot really.

The only goal of the game came with 15mins remaining, and again from a throw in. Straight into the 6 yard box and with everyone leaving it for everyone else, the smallest guy on the park, stuck his head on it for the winner.

Not really anything bad to say, but need to concentrate more when we dont have the ball and make sure were first to everything.
