Latest news on the League is that RED STAR in DIV A have folded, so last years 3rd place in DIV B is promoted who were DS STREET LEAGUE. Abronhill narrowly missing out on 3rd place last year. Three new teams join Division B, BISHOPTON, SCOTSMAN and CALEDONIAN UNI. Should be an interesting seasonboys, lets not let ourself down and play like we all know we can every week. |

A look into the future for 2008/2009 season. Will Abronhill be the team in Blue and White or the team in the Red. With a good pre-season under our belts hopefully we will be the team in red,hopefully we will look alot fitter.

NEW KIT APPROVED FOR SEASON 08/09 After much discussion about the strips it has been decided for Season 08/09 that the Home and Away Kit will infact be changing. The Strips have already been decided and can be seen below, modelled by Joe and Danny. Also shown in the picture is a good friend who is also modelling the new training kit, to worn by ALL every Thursday @ training. I think you will all agree that these new strips will strike fear into every opponent coming up against the mighty AUG.

AFTER A GREAT NIGHT OUT ON THE 1st DECEMBER THERE WERE A FEW BHOYS IN THE RUNNING FOR THE DRUNKEST MAN AWARD. THE MAIN CHOICES WERE:
MICHAEL: THE QUIETEST MAN IN THE DRESSING ROOM BUT AFTER A FEW JACK Ds AND COKES YOU COULDNT GET HIM TO SHUT UP, AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ABOUT HIS ELVIS ON THE DANCE FLOOR.
Or was it to be RAYMOND.
RAYMOND: PUT HIS INTOXICATION DOWN TO DRINKING ALL DAY BEFORE MEETING UP THE GUYS, BUT HE LOOKED FRESH AS A DAISY IN O'NIELLS BUT ONCE THE TIME CAME TO HEAD OUT AFTER O'NIELLS SOMEONE HAD STOLEN HIS JACKET AND REPLACED IT WITH HIS BROTHERS, THIS JACKET SEARCHING CONTINUED FOR MOST OF THE NIGHT UNTIL HE RELISED HE MUST HAVE INFACT BROUGHT HIS BROTHERS INSTEAD OF HIS OWN. GOOD TIMES.
But the WINNER by unanimous decision is BILLY- R - SUPERSTAR.
NO COMPETITION REALLY AS ONCE BILLY GETS A DRINK IN HIM THERES NO STOPPING HIM. WHAT CAN I SAY REALLY, HE MOVES AS FAST ON THE DANCE FLOOR AS HE DOES ON THE PITCH.
HIS DRINKING RATE IS SECOND TO NONE.
BUT HE REALLY GETS THE AWARD FOR JUST BEING A VERY FUNNY GUY WHEN DRUNK.
CONGRATS TO ROBERT FOR GETTING HIS DRUNKEN ARSE INTO A TAXI AND SAFELY HOME TO HIS POOR WIFE.
