Its the turn of Abronhills very own Tommy G to take the hot seat. OK, onto teammates: First Question, Who is the Best Trainer A few candidates for this one. Theres Billy 'The Mummy' Ratcliffe, who always gives 110% in every session despite having a false leg and carrying more injuries than the rest of the team put together. The Gaffer and Raymond always put in good shifts too, as does Bandageman McQuillan. However, my final choice goes to the IceMan. A lot of guys would have chucked it by now but he keeps turning up and puts 150% into each session. so next question is who is the WORST TRAINER :I'm not going to mention who this was as I don't want to offend the Captain, but someone went for a ball last Thursday n it looked like he was running in a wind tunnel. The two keepers have to be in there too. Most goalies will take a towel and a water bottle behind the goal with them, Soapy takes 10 Club and a lighter. Cant be many but whos the MOST SKILLFUL in the TEAM: Someone called this right in a previous teammates, but it has to be Coach McGowan. Danny is still good for the odd nutmeg and wee Thomas would be in there too. Again a limited choice but whos the QUICKEST PLAYER: Mikey McG without question. Nothing worse than when the young pup whips the ball past you n before your legs have creaked into action its in the back bin. Was loving that picture of him as a fellow baldy too. Despite their advanced years Billy and Kev are still pretty quick. Another vote for the roadrunner there. Surely a plethora to choose from here but whos the SLOWEST PLAYER and you may include yourself: Janny. Can't decide between them so since they are the heart of our defence I'll just combine them into one person. Thats a good one. Dare i ask it, but whos the MOST INTELLIGENT:Ants always gets this one but remember I know what his bedside book collection is like so I would have to go with the IceMan and Kev. Before 7s one Thursday I walked past them n they were talking about Mortgages and Individual Savings Accounts!! No joke!! Plus, I was on the bus last week n saw the IceMan wandering up towards Strathclyde Uni - dunno what he was up to but I reckon he was up to something intelligent. Suppose Ross Yuill is another intelligent fellow and I reckon behind the daft exterior the bold Bill is probably in a position of responsibility too. You cant say the whole team, choose just one who is the LEAST INTELLIGENT:Tough one. Canny say Iain as he always get it. Young Soapy has came out with a few daft comments recently, yeh, just give it to Soapy, goalies are always daft - plus he calls me baldy every Saturday n I never have a comeback. Yeh just give it to Soapy - this can be my long awaited comeback. Im sure the human whiteboard will have something to say about that. Next one up is WORST DANCER: Once nights out get to the point where people are dancing I'm usually too hammered to remember, so I'll just stick with Mikey's Elvis/Air Guitar routine. Big Rab likes waving his big paws in the air at nights out too n Jack and Billy have a certain swagger at around 2am. One night we dropped Bill off in a taxi n he bounced off every fence n wall on the way up to his front door n it looked like a ballet routine. Easy one this time: who has the: WORST DRESS SENSE: C3PO McCluskey. Next question please Joe. Another vote for the human glitter ball there. Oh so many again but pick one: BIGGEST MOANER:..
The McCluskey Bros like a good moan, usually most of it is to each other though. I suppose I like a bit of a moan too, especially when the gaffer questioned my commitment to the team on Monday night..... Whos the player who thinks hes THE JOKER of the Team: Good bit of craic at the side of the park last Saturday so I'll give this to Kev. Still laughing at his joke about Sven Goran Eriksson's forehead going down to his a**e. And Finally...................LONGEST IN THE SHOWER:Without a doubt, young Tony. A lesson to us all that beast.
